The Rocking Duck

As you can see, this baby is already getting spoiled. Yes, that is a rocking duck... and it rocks! We picked this up for the little guy in Memphis at The Peabody Hotel.

The Peabody ducks really do march and they are really in the fountain in the hotel. Read all about it, those are some crazy ducks. Aflac!

End of First Trimester

Well, the first trimester is almost over. It has been a little rough with nausea. I found it really frustrating to be revolted by foods that I normally liked. I never did actually get sick, but I wanted to many times. For the past week or two, the nausea has gone away, and hopefully it will not return. We have our next doctor's visit on June 9th. I think this is just a routine visit which probably won't be as exciting as the last visit where I got to hear the little heartbeat for the first time at 9 1/2 weeks.

Week 12/13

We are ending the first trimester this week. According to What to Expect When You're Expecting the baby is about the size of a peach.

I guess we'll call the baby Peaches this week (hope it's a girl or that would be weird)

Our first baby picture...

Here is what the baby looked like at 6 weeks!

He/She is about the size of a grain of rice, so we call him/her "Short Grain"

Shorty is looking pretty good in there...

We're expecting!

We've got good news! We'll be expecting a new addition in December!
