Activity

As Michael noted, the little guy seems to be moving quite a lot. Especially in the morning and at bedtime. Now we are calling him the 'kicking banana', since that is how long he is this week.

Michael bought a device that allows us to play him music, so we have been playing him classical music.

He's kicking!!

Our little guy kicking! I couldn't believe how active and how noticeable his movements are.

One more ultrasound...

There he is, all curled up.

He looks safe and secure to me.

Good job Mommy!

Can you tell if it is a boy or a girl?

Clearly by looking at this picture you can see he is a boy.

The doctor had no difficulty finding his "exterior plumbing", but I've circled it in green if you need a little help.

More Ultrasounds

In this picture you can see his eyes and his little arm.

Mae Ellen thinks he looks like an alien in this one.

Alien baby... cool.

Ultrasounds

Here he is! This is our future son.

You can clearly see the head in this picture.

It's a boy!

We are very happy to report that the ultrasound went well and showed that we are having a healthy baby boy.

Based on the size they think it may be due as early as November 26th instead of December 3rd.
The way it sounds, it doesn't seem like he will be a little baby... uh oh :)

Given the fact that I was 8 lbs 8 oz when I was born, they said that was a good indicator of the size that he would be.

We are very excited and can't wait to meet him!
Michael will be posting the ultrasound pictures soon.

Mae Ellen getting a very special ultrasound

Well the big day brought us very special news. It’s a boy, but more importantly a healthy boy. The doctors said everything looked perfect on the ultrasounds and you could see his heart beating and him moving around (the doctor said he had the hiccups). The little guy is even growing ahead of schedule and they changed the due date to November 26th. We’ve got a big, healthy, baby boy!
